We recently wrapped up an exciting pilot project in collaboration with Public Library Bonaire! Over several weeks, children teamed up with a local artist to create a unique, interactive artwork that celebrated creativity, storytelling, and community.

The Children's Museum Bonaire playfully connects children with their families through interaction and play, discovering together where children's talents and interests lie, developing them, and integrating them into the culture, art, and nature of Bonaire.

recent donation
Mobile planetarium
We are deeply grateful for an incredible donation from PwC: a mobile planetarium in the form of a 6-meter dome. Inside this dome, children on Bonaire will soon be able to watch 360° movies, enjoy interactive educational games, and participate in school programs. The dome is currently stored in the Netherlands; together with the local government and Rocargo we are working to have it shipped and set up on Bonaire as soon as possible. We are also exploring collaborations with ARTIS to share their children’s educational programs. This donation marks a wonderful step forward in inspiring learning and discovery for the children of Bonaire.
In need of: Location!
We started the KMB project in 2021 with a feasibility study and now have a project plan, a dedicated team, and our first project launching with the Openbare Bibliotheek Bonaire.
Meanwhile, we continue actively searching for a location to implement the programs and exhibitions needed to support the children of Bonaire and ensure a successful museum.
